Create end fittings with spelter sockets
Just like closed swage sockets also spelter sockets are used to make strong end fittings on galvanized ropes. You will see them with large diameters at pile drivers and lifting systems. We’ve got two types: clevis and eye. Additionally at KWINT you find sockets in various sizes and qualities.
Molding on site
The difference between swage sockets and spelter sockets, is that spelter sockets are molded, by using two-components harsh (wire-lock). The advantage is that you can do this on site. You don’t need a press.
